Mt Mee State School is located next to the Public Hall and Birches Restaurant at Mt Mee, on Mt Mee Road.
It is a fifteen minute drive from Woodford, a small town centre, and thirty-five minutes from the Caboolture Shire’s City Centre of Caboolture. Although little more than an hour drive from Brisbane, Mt Mee retains the remoteness of a small country community.
Mt Mee School is over one hundred years old and the school’s main buildings reflect this rich heritage.
The Upper School, constructed in 1997, and the Early Education Centre (EEC) are located in modular-style buildings.

The purpose of Mt Mee State School is to be an essential and integral part of the Mt Mee Community by developing:
· appropriate and effective programs of teaching and learning for every student;
· a safe but exciting and challenging learning environment;
· students who tolerate others in all situations;
· students who are confident, self-disciplined and active members of the community;
· students who become life-long learners.
