THE COMMUNITY

Despite the large tracts of land at Mt Mee, farming is limited to a small percentage of properties. These include dairy farming and some small crops. Most workers at Mt Mee travel to urban centres, including Caboolture and Brisbane. Therefore, students come to us with differing perspectives which adds to the diversity of our student-base.

THE STUDENTS

The students are a mixture of children from families who have lived at Mt Mee for several generations on farms and properties to those who live in two small urban subdivisions in Mt Mee, on properties around Mt Mee or travelling from small acreage subdivisions at Oceanview.

While a large proportion of the students attend the school for the whole of their Primary years, there is a degree of transience in families who rent properties in the area.
